Metphors Exhibition Opening

We managed to get this 18 minutes video shoot and 30 minutes audio recording from my performance at the Metaphors exhibition opening at nomadenetappe in Linz. It was very nice that Enrique Tomás (ultranoise.es) gave me the posibility to play the fresh system there for the first time. Thanks to all of the people involved. Especially the interface culture people who organized the exhibition and produced awesome work for it. If you are around you can still visit it until of the 8th of February!

METAPHORS

OPENING: | 31.01.13 | 19.00
EXHIBITION: 01. – 08.02.13 | 16.00 – 20.00

nomadenetappe is pleased to announce the exhibtion Metaphors, a coproduction by nomadenetappe, the Interface Culure Master [Kunstuniversität Linz] and Enrique Tomás.

Videogames for bacteria, poetic ways of typing with keyboards, analogue social networks or visualizations of colliding human lifes are among many others, the contents of the exhibition Metaphors. Thirteen emerging international artists studying at the Interface Culture Master of the Kunstuniversität Linz were commissioned by one of their lecturers to produce a final project for the spaces of nomadenetappe. The works will show an overview of individual interpreted destabilizations of industrial standards, challenging the audience to interact with the metaphors surrounding us in a new and fresh manner and with unexpected results.
